The new track by Steven James and Quentin Sound raises money and awareness for those suffering from homophobia in Russia, Uganda and Jamaica.

In a powerful new music video, Steven James and Quentin Sound send a message of hope and support to LGBT people living in some of the most homophobic nations in the world: Jamaica, Russia and Uganda.
In Jamaica, sexual acts between men are punishable with up to ten years in prison, while Human Rights Watch documented 56 cases of anti-LGBT violence in 2013—only four led to arrests or prosecutions
Russia’s rampant homophobia has been well-documented. Though there are no laws criminalizing same-sex activity, a law passed in 2013 banning the spread of propaganda of “non-traditional” sexual relations among minors has led to an increase in homophobic violence.
Uganda’s so-called “Kill the Gays” bill drew interntaional ire, and though the country’s parliament didn’t succeed in passing the death penalty for homosexual acts between men, “carnal knowledge against the order of nature” carries a potential life sentence in prison.
Check out the video for “We Know Who We Are” below (which features some distrubing imagery of homophobic violence) and buy the single here on iTunes. 50 percent of proceeds from “We Know Who We Are” will be donated to LGBT youth organizations in Russia, Jamaica and Uganda—Children-404, JFLAG and Sexual Minorities Uganda (SMUG), respectively.

AirBnB have made a stunning video for Pride

27/06/2015 By ACOMSDave Leave a Comment

Airbnb have released a truly excellent video for Pride telling the stories of LGBT couples and what it’s like for them when traveling.
We hear from people who have journeyed for years across the world and those who are just starting out in their relationships. From the couple who always had to keep their relationship a secret to the parents who fear the situation where they might have to “deny being a family, or pretend like you’re a mother and an aunt.”

“Travel breaks down barriers, people see you and you’re no longer a mystery”

“My greater hope would be that beyond just being tolerated by a society we would actually being accepted.”
This video is a brilliant addition to pride and finishes with the hope that one day, all love is welcome in the world.

Sporting matching team vests, ‘Corden’s Angels’ take on the Ball Busters in one of the funniest dodgeball games we’ve ever seen.

The One Direction boys run around in skimpy red sports while balls are rapidly fired at them by their feisty opponents.
You really need to see it for yourself. Watch the full video below to see how they faired in the game…

Gay Country Band Indiana Queen Releases ‘With You,’ Inspired By Lead Singer’s Real-Life Relationship

19/05/2015 By ACOMSDave Leave a Comment

Gay alt-country band Indiana Queen just released their newest music video for the song “With You” from the album “This I Do Carry Unto The End.” The video is a melancholy yet hopeful love story shot and edited entirely on iPhones. The video features lead singer Kevin Thornton and his real-life partner.
“We found each other in our 40s,” Thornton says. “We had both given up on love in some ways. The video shows two people like that who have been beat up by love and life. Gay or straight, that’s something anyone can relate to.”
The band has been stirring things up in Nashville since the release of their new album. “We are starting to get lots of messages,” says Thornton. “Gay people out there telling us how much it means to them to see themselves represented in country music.”
Indiana Queen will be headlining Nashville Pride in June.

Cher shares the gayest video ever made for one of her songs

Singer says some friends made this beefcake buffet for song Take it Like a Man as ‘a present’
21 November 2013 | By Greg Hernandez

Cher knows her gay fan base exceptionally well.
On Wednesday (20 November), the ageless star tweeted out some fresh meat for those fans – make that fresh beefcake.
‘Some friends made me a present for Take it Like a Man,’ the icon wrote on Twitter along with a link to a YouTube video.
The video, titled Take it Like a Man 7th Heaven Remix, features an endless array of perfectly buff and handsome dudes wearing very little doing things like washing a car with each other’s bodies and frolicking on a beach.
Take it Like a Man is a song from Cher’s album Closer to the Truth, her first album of new material in more than a decade.
It has already spawned the hit singles Woman’s World and I Hope You Like It and climbed as high as number three on the Billboard sales chart.

Gay twin models come out to their dad (Video)

16/01/2015 By David McFarlane Leave a Comment

A feel good story and vid from the USA – maybe we in time will have similar stories to tell:

Twin brothers have some big news to break to their father in this heartwarming video – they are both gay.
Aaron and Austin Rhodes, 19, run a YouTube channel called The Rhodes Bros which follows their attempts to make it big in LA, as well as insights into their personal lives. But their latest video was perhaps as personal as it gets.
Austin explains that their family and friends all know that the brothers are gay – except their dad. As they are based in Los Angeles, two thousand miles away from their hometown in Ohio, they have to tell their father via phone.
Before making the call, Aaron and Austin admit that they feel ‘sick’ and ready to ‘pass out’.
Aaron tries to be the one to break the news, but he gets too choked up as he tries to explain why they are calling. Austin swoops to the rescue, but also breaks down before he can spit it out.
In the end, it’s Aaron who manages to say it: “I don’t really know how else to put it, but, like… I’m gay and, um, Austin is too,” he says, as both brothers wipe their eyes.
Luckily, their dad’s reaction is enough to warm the coldest cockles of your heart. “You know I love you both – that will never change,” he tells them. “You gotta live your lives. You gotta do what you gotta do.”
When Austin says he hopes that things will stay normal between them, Dad is quick to reassure them : “You are normal.” Aww!
