Here it is at last – The Official LGBT History Month 2016 Badge!
Gareth Marshall (left), 1st year Design student at The University of Bedfordshire in Luton, wins our £250 prize for this simple yet dynamic piece.
All the students found the Religion, Belief and Philosophy brief quite a challenge, made even harder by our decision not to favour by inclusion, any specific religious iconography.
Gareth was inspired, he says, by the idea of ‘the leap of faith’ common in many religious beliefs, which he also felt was analogous with the idea of Coming Out.
The badges will be on sale at our stall in Trafalgar Square on 27th June.
